WJEC's regional briefing sessions for new centres

As part of its welcome to new centres joining the Welsh Baccalaureate post-16 roll-out, the WJEC arranged a seies of meetings to introduce its services for the Bac. The programme included perspectives on successful delivery planning from the Welsh Bac team as well as from some current pilot centres. The support available from the WJEC was explained, together with the awarding fee structure and the management of delivery funding which is provided by the Welsh Assembly government via the WJEC.

Briefing sessions were held in the following centres:

• North Wales - Coleg Llandrillo, Colwyn Bay - Monday, March 19
• South-east Wales - WJEC site, Treforest - Tuesday 20 March
• South-west Wales - Twyn-yr-Hydd Training Centre, Neath Port Talbot College, Margam Park - Thursday 22 March
