Information for new roll-out centres on additional funding from WAG

Delivery funding is available to our new roll-out centres from the Welsh Assembly Government that is in addition to recurrent funding  available via the National Planning and Funding System (NPFS).  

This funding and the terms attached to it, are described in 'Agreement with Centres for Receipt of Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification Delivery Funding from  the  Welsh Assembly Government'. In order to be eligible for it, Heads of centres must complete a form attached to the document below and return it to the Welsh Assembly Government.

Eligible qualifications

A number of queries have been received about which qualifications are eligible for 'Options' in the WBQ. After discussion with DELLS the regulation states any qualification that does not appear in the document 'Learning Skills Act - 2000 Statutory Approval of Qualifications under section 99' cannot be accepted as part of the WBQ .Click here for link to further information.
