Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification - applications to participate in roll-out from academic year 2010/11
We are extending the opportunity to learning providers to take part in the next stage of the WBQ’s development.
You are invited to apply to join the second phase of roll-out at Foundation level (at 14-19) and Intermediate level in pre-16 education from September 2010. Applications are welcome from all providers of 14-19 learning in Wales and should be submitted by 6 November at the very latest.
We will be unable to consider any forms received after this deadline.
Applications are required from:
N.B. Any centre that has already been approved to deliver the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification to its whole cohort must inform us of any anticipated increase in their cohort numbers above the currently agreed maximum.
Please note that there is a separate application form and process for consortia wishing to participate in the introduction of the Principal Learning of the 14-19 Diplomas and Project qualifications within the Welsh Baccalaureate.
Centres wishing to apply to deliver Advanced level and/or Intermediate level post-16 apply to the WJEC.
