This resource pack is designed to aid the teaching of appraising a piece of music called Vltava.
This resource pack meets the key stage 2 music curriculum and the following programme of study statements:
- The repertoire chosen for listening should include music of varied genres and styles from different times and cultures.
- Music chosen should extend musical experiences and include examples taken from European classical traditions.
- Appraising - pupils should listen attentively to a piece of music, make distinctions within musical elements and discuss and evaluate effectively.
