Sospan fach is a unison song with a chorus. This lesson aims to encourage pupils to:

• sing an expanding range of unison songs
• maintain an individual instrumental part in a group piece
• memorise, internalise and recall increasingly complex sections of music
• perform an example of a piece of Welsh folk music

It has been chosen to appeal to boys. It also allows pupils to listen to a range of audio-visual stimuli, sing a Welsh song and read and respond to an appropriate piece of material.
