During this lesson you will be taken on a fieldwork visit to two coastal areas in south-east Wales. The two study areas are Porthkerry and Penarth. Whilst at Porthkerry we will concentrate on the three main processes that shape the coastline. These processes are erosion, transportation and deposition. At Penarth we will observe how and explain why the coastline is protected from flooding and erosion.
