This is lesson one of two on the topic of photosynthesis. The purpose of the resource is to give students the appropriate knowledge and understanding of the process of photosynthesis required for KS3 (and year 8 in particular).
The lesson introduces the process of photosynthesis and the requirements necessary for photosynthesis to occur. It meets the first three statements of the KS3 programme of study for life processes and living things (3 - green plants as organisms).
The interactive activities within the lesson can be used for assessment opportunities.
