The Nit Song is a unison song with a chorus. The lesson aims to allow pupils to:

• add to an expanding range of unison songs
• maintain an individual instrumental part in a group piece
• memorise, internalise and recall increasingly complex sections of music

• Raise awareness of health issues surrounding the problem of head lice.
• Give pupils a better understanding of the causes and treatment of head lice.
