Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the main Muslim festivals. It follows Ramadan, the month when Muslims fast during the daylight hours. It is a very happy occasion, when Muslims celebrate and give thanks to Allah for giving them strength to successfully keep the fast of Ramadan. Muslims celebrate in various ways – e.g. feasting, new clothes and exchanging greetings cards and presents. These are typical Eid-ul-Fitr greetings cards in this country. The words ‘Eid Mubarak’ means ‘Happy Eid’.
