The context of the work was also chosen to demonstrate the way in which topics such as tourism and business can provide fruitful situations for the development of key skills portfolios.
A fictitious company based in Bridgend. The company provides many services including trips to local attractions and holidays throughout UK and Europe.
The materials produced cover some of the aspects of the work of the company but clearly demonstrate the way in which software should be used at Levels 1, 2 and 3.
The work presented for each level is for a single purpose and it would be necessary to combine purposes carefully to ensure that any one individual candidate's portfolio provided adequate evidence for the development of text, image and number.
