Course content:

1. Introducing yourself and greeting people.
2. Counting up to 20 and speaking about your birthday.
3. Speaking about your brothers and sisters.
4. Speaking about your pets.
5. Saying and understanding where people live in Europe.
6. Saying what are the nationalities of some European people.
7. Ordering a drink.
8. Ordering a snack.
9. Describe the colour of your eyes.
10. Describing the colour of your hair.
11. Describing your physical appearance and the appearance of others.
12. Describing your personality and the personality of others.
13. Saying which sports you do (part 1).
14. Saying which sports your play (part 2).
15. Talking about the weather.

Please note:

Although Units 1 to 15 represent a progression, it is not necessary to present them in this order. Nevertheless, if you intend to present them in a different order, it is important to realise that:

• unit 1 to 4 must be done at the beginning of the course
• units 5 and 6 can be done after units 7 and 8 but before unit 9
• unit 9, 10, 11 and 12 are part of a series of lessons that must be delivered in consecutive order
• units 13, 14 and 15 can be done at any time
