materials for the Foundation Certificate in Building Craft Occupations
(FCinBCO – January 2004 Edition)
Here is a complete resource with fully detailed Handouts and Work Activities
for Students, Teacher support information on delivery, cross mapping to other
qualifications, Question papers and Assessment Guidance. The Occupational Standards
approved by QCA for the FCinBCO, are also included.
These materials are for teachers in schools and further education and young people
aged 14-16 who are following a work related learning programme in construction.
They may also be useful for Post 16 programmes where the Foundation Certificate
in Building Craft Occupations is the target qualification.
They are in Microsoft Word 6 format so that they can be quickly accessed from
the CD-ROM; following the links on these pages.

Note: The term student has been used throughout the handbooks as a generic term
covering pupils, students and trainees. Similarly, the term teacher has been
used as a generic term for teachers, lecturers and instructors.
