Outline of activity

Pupils select a very well-known text such a fairytale with a repeated phrase (for example, The GingerBread Man). They then take the one repeated phrase, and using an art package, create a picture to represent the phrase. They should then use the text tool to insert the phrase on their drawing.

Plenary

Pupils can show their completed drawings to the class and describe why they chose it and how they did their drawing.
