You've arranged your photographs in the order you want them, but at the moment the change from one photograph to the next is abrupt, what we call a jump cut. You may like to smooth things out and you can do this by using transitions.

Transitions will blend the ends of your photographs together in a variety of ways-for example, fading one photograph into the next, dissolving one photograph into another, or "pushing" the last photograph off-screen as the next photograph comes on.

You will now add transitions between the photographs in your movie.

Watch the movie carefully to find out how to add transitions to your iMovie project.
