Simple Animation    Using the Camera 

It is easy to give the impression of movement within your final project, by using simple animation techniques. To create an animation, follow these steps:

1. Choose your viewpoint and position your camera securely, it is important that your camera doesn't move for the duration of this exercise.

2. Take 1 picture of your subject - DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA

3. Move your subject within the frame.

4. Take 1 picture of your subject - DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA

5. Move your subject within the frame again.

6. Take 1 picture of your subject - DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA

7. Continue steps 5 - 6 until the movement is complete.

8. Using the camera in play or review mode, scroll through your pictures - you should be able to see the animated movement.

Use the Worksheet provided to help manage your shoot. Remember, take plenty of well considered pictures, you will need lots of great images to choose from for your final project.
