Making Your Video

Start a new Project Importing pictures Build Your Movie
Making titles   Saving Your Work

iMovie is a video editing programme, that allows you to build your very own movies. You will use iMovie to arrange your pictures into order and synchronise them with your soundtrack. You will be able to add titles, credits and control what we call transitions, the way one photograph blends into the next. This all sounds quite complicated, but don't worry, we'll talk you through it step by step.

Begin by locating the iMovie icon on your dock. The first time you open iMovie, you will see the Project window, which gives you several options for creating a movie. You will select one of these options to create a new project.

Watch the movie to find out how to create a new iMovie project. Follow the instructions carefully.
