Planning Your Shoot
When filling in your table, it's important to consider the following points: 1. On a clean sheet of paper, describe in words what you want to photograph and record. Think back to what we've learnt about how sounds and pictures relate to each other. 2. Look through your writing. How will you describe your theme using pictures? Do you have any sound motifs or themes? Do you have any sounds that link to your pictures? Do you have any confusing sounds? 3. Will you need to record at a particular location to describe your theme? Consider where this will be - write down the locations. 4. Will you need any props to help describe your idea? Where will you get your props? Do you need to make them? Do you need to borrow them? 5. Do you need any people in your pictures? Do you need to record the sounds that people make i.e. clapping, cheering, talking etc.? If yes, you will need actors. Who will they be? Make sure you tell your actors exactly what they will need to do. Use the 'Planning Your Shoot' Worksheet to help you. |
