Cardiff Council Creative Arts Support Team 
Cardiff Council Creative Arts Support Team (CAST), which is part the Schools and Lifelong Learning Service, exists to celebrate, promote and deliver high quality arts experiences for children, teachers and artists in the city. This involves providing in-service training courses and support in schools for teachers and classroom staff; training artists to work with and alongside children and teachers; as well as planning and managing substantial arts projects in partnership with artists and arts organisations.

Our vision is to create opportunities for "taking part in creating culture". This means developing a greater understanding of what informs and influences culture through participation in projects that promote thinking and working creatively.
