Organising Your Pictures Opening Pictures Adjusting the Brightness
Adjusting the Colour Saving Your Pictures

How light or dark a picture is can affect the mood of your work. For example, we might associate a dark image with night-time, or it might have a sinister feel.

What do you associate with light and dark?

We can often improve the way a picture looks by adjusting the brightness, whether we change the overall look of the picture or just make a subtle adjustment. Often small changes can have a dramatic effect, so try not to get too carried away. Look carefully at your images and consider the brightness.

Does the brightness set the mood of your project? How could it be improved?

Watch the video to find out how to adjust the brightness using Adobe Photoshop. Follow the instructions carefully.
