This pack is made up of a set of activities that can be used to introduce pupils to the idea that language has many subtleties and that statements are not always right or wrong.
The pack will enable the teacher to:
- use an interactive cartoon strip to tell the story of how a set of gel pens go missing from a pencil case
- consolidate key vocabulary throughout the activities by means of simple picture prompts
- print out a worksheet and access online extension opportunities to support the ideas being taught
These activities will address the following areas of the national curriculum in Wales:
- Key stage 2 programme of study English, Oracy - 1, 2
