This resource pack consists of a series of activities that can be used to introduce number sequences in Year 3. This pack could be used as a whole lesson in itself or as separate activities to be used on their own.
The activities will enable a teacher to:
- introduce and explore sequences in a number grid
- demonstrate number patterns and encourage explanations
- highlight and explain even and odd numbers
- demonstrate and extend number sequences
These resources are intended for use on an interactive whiteboard. Teachers may like to use these resources to support classroom learning on a classroom-based computer, either individually or in small groups with a teaching assistant.
