This activity aims to familiarise pupils with the concept of how input
devices can control a process. They learn that devices such as light sensors,
pressure pads and temperature gauges can measure changes in the environment
and that they can then program a computer to carry out a process when
it detects some sort of change. They learn some of the control language
necessary to program the computer to make such decisions ("until" and
"then").
