This whiteboard activity is intended to support year 8 teaching by describing the digestive system and explaining how we digest our food. It may also be used with year 7 students to illustrate the organisation of the body into organs and organ systems, or with year 9 students to recall their knowledge of the digestive system. The activity illustrates the structure and functions of the digestive system.
