This is a unison song with a chorus that aims to encourage pupils (particularly boys) to sing. The lesson features a singing activity, accompanying midi sound clips and paintings by Sir Kyffin Williams. It is aimed at years 3 and 4.
It covers:
- singing an expanding repertoire of unison songs
- improvising and arranging music in response to musical stimuli
- developing and refining musical ideas using appropriate structures
- history - ask and answer questions about the past (research the life and times of Crawshay Bailey)
- ICT - changing variables in a simulation ("what would happen if" situations)
