This lesson is an early years resource, designed to teach pupils about positioning and patterns. Users are given coloured cars, vans and lorries and asked to group them in different ways. Then, using basic maps and plans, pupils are invited to move vehicles from one place to another. They are encouraged to think about how to plan and chart journeys and how to give directions to others.
