Summary For this activity you will need to split your class into four colour-coded teams who can then take part in a 20-question quiz. The computer will check the answers and teachers should update the scores of the teams. The questions tackle a variety of approaches to adding and subtracting 0.1 and 0.01. You could provide each student with a piece of coloured card representing his or her team. When the student has an answer, they hold up the card. Suitable for Year 7 Using a non-interactive whiteboard As above, with the teacher using keyboard and mouse instead of touch screen. Prior learning required The work follows on from their experience in earlier years. Aims and objectives To provide a lively activity to practise adding and subtracting 0.1 and 0.01.
