Aim: To develop your skills in using content creation software

Objectives:

By the end of this session you will have:

  • further developed your ICT skills by completing the step-by-step guides to basic techniques provided for some of the more commonly available software packages, and to explore other software packages
  • enhanced your content creation skills.

You will need:

  • a computer with internet connection
  • your E-Guides USB memory stick
Time allocated: 90 minutes

Task:

This session builds on ‘Session 2.2: Creating interactive content (1)’.

  1. You might wish to continue working on some interactive content that you started to create during Session 2.2, or you might wish to explore further content creation software and follow one of the other content creation guides which you can find in the section ‘Content creation’ on your E-Guides USB memory stick.

  2. You might wish to use the template provided in Session 2.2, Activity: Reviewing content creation tools, to make some reflective notes on content creation software you explore.
