Task:
- Your
facilitator will provide you with an introduction
to learning platforms. This introduction
is supported by the interactive PowerPoint® presentation What
is a learning platform?
(10
minutes).
- Your
facilitator will now introduce you to the
E-Guides Moodle, and the demonstration
area “Learning Platforms” (5
minutes).
- In pairs, discuss the
activities you can see in the four areas:
(10 minutes)
- Course Content
- Communication and Collaboration
- Assessment
- Student Management
- Use Activity:
Moodle to record which areas
you have investigated and how you think
the activity types may be used to enhance
the learner journey (10 minutes).
- Using the mindmapping software that is
installed on the E-Guides laptops, spend
about 10 minutes creating a mindmap about
how a learning platform could be used in
your organisation to enhance the learner
journey. Alternatively, take some notes in
your Reflective log. Save your work onto
your E-Guides USB memory stick (10 minutes).
