eXe

eXe, an open-source XHTML editor, is a web-based authoring tool that allows you to create impressive, well designed web-based teaching and learning materials without the need to understand HTML or XML code.

The application is offered for download for most operating systems and the software has the advantage of being able to be downloaded and run on a computer or, alternatively, the software can be placed on a USB memory stick or CD-ROM without needing installation. eXe can be downloaded from Eduforge via the eXe website.

eXe is an intuitive tool that is easy to use and incorporates elements that make up the learning resources. These elements are called iDevices and the following instructions will demonstrate to you how to include iDevices into an eXe learning object such as:
