In this lesson the children will be introduced to St Fagan's, the Museum of Welsh Life. They will see photographs of the museum taking in different seasons, together with pictures of children doing some of the activities offered at the museum, such as participating in traditional Welsh dances and experimenting with ceramics.
This resource pack is designed to introduce young children to the skills and concepts associated with knowledge and understanding of the world. The children will be helped to develop their listening and communication skills through a series of activities. Teachers may like to organise a trip to St Fagan, but this pack could be used by teachers and children who live too far away to be able to make the journey.
