Introduction

This KS4 whiteboard resource pack teaches students the definition of skill, the difference between simple and complex skills and how to recognise open and closed skills by their characteristics.

By the end of this lesson students should be able to:

  • place a skill on the open and closed skill continuum
  • describe how the information processing system works
  • recognise how each type of guidance assists in the learning process
