National Library of Wales
The National Library is one of the great libraries of the world. Since 1911 it has enjoyed the right to collect, free of charge, a copy of every printed work published in Britain and Ireland. In addition it has a huge collection of works about Wales and the other Celtic countries: books and pamphlets, magazines and newspapers, microforms, ephemera, and a wealth of electronic material.

Moving Image Collection of the National Library of Wales
The Moving Image Collection of the National Library of Wales consists of both film and video formats and provides an extensive resource for research on all aspects of Welsh life. It is categorised under film, published video and unpublished video.

Photo Collection of the National Library of Wales
Founded in 1907 the National Library of Wales has collected photographs, concentrating on pictures that document people and places in Wales or Welsh life in general. The collection now numbers about 750,000 images dating from the earliest days of photography to the present. It is the largest and richest collection of photographs of Welsh interest in existence and represents the foundation of a Welsh National Photographic Archive. Photographs may be seen by authorised readers at the Library. They are not lent out but copies can be produced for most purposes.
