Outline of the activity
This project aimed to use story writing to develop activities in the Foundation Subjects and y Cwricwlwm Cymreig. It was run in conjunction with the Welsh Centre in Swansea and 3 schools in the West Cross area of the city. The project used integrated ICT throughout to enhance the teaching and learning material.
Skills Covered
Many skills were covered throughout the cross-curricular project. Internet research was integral aswell as general ICT presentation skills.
Rationale
Children are introduced to how story writing can bring about a huge range of ICT based cross-curricular work.
