Storybook weaver imageOutline of the activity
The pupils were working with an Author in Residence. They created their own poems. Some of the children recreated their work in the form of a moving storybook using ‘Storybook Weaver’.

Skills Covered
The skills covered when using this programme are varied. The pupils will need to be able to re-size, move and paste objects. They are able to choose their own backgrounds and objects into the scene. They can also add sound files if they  require.

Rationale
This programme is an interesting way to record short stories or poems. It allows the pupils to bring their creations ‘to life’.

Result
The presentations were shown to the whole class. The others had the opportunity to learn about other insects.
