Leaf researchOutline of the activity
Pupils first went into the school grounds to collect as many different species of leaves.  Their subsequent tasks were to record their findings, to research for further information and to create a presentation page for the class.

Skills Covered
The children used the digital camera, spreadsheet and presentation software as well as searching the Internet. e.g.

Rationale
The use of technology complemented more traditional ways of searching for information and recording results.  

Result
A Powerpoint presentation was made of the project showing the findings of the children.
