Outline of the activity
The class were preparing for Easter and were studying the significant events of what is termed Holy Week. The task was to produce a class reference book.

Skills Covered
In addition to using the digital camera, the children learned to write for a purpose and work together to plan, draft and improve work. They cropped images and edited their texts for their pages.

Rationale
Using the word processor, art package and the digital camera were essential to production of the final publication.

Result

The completed book contains the results of the children's research in both text and picture form.  It can now be made available for other children to read
