Sound - loudness and pitch

This resource is split into two parts. One part deals with pitch and the other with the loudness of sound. Through animations and interactive activities pupils learn:

1. that loud and quiet sounds are produced by big or small vibrations.

2. that high or low pitched notes are produced by fast or slow vibrations.

There are printable sheets for follow up investigations.
