- Extend provision to all year 10-11 for extra tuition and equipment.
- Investigate feasibility of access to education/language skills for Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers.
- Improve health and wellbeing of LAC to reduce barriers to education
- Provide multi-agency training
- Purchasing essential equipment/services for LAC

- Award bursary for LAC for predominately KS4 as appropriate
- Purchase essential equipment and services to meet individual pupil needs:
- Outward bound activities to improve confidence
- Specialist training & equipment for disabled children
- Education Co-ordinator training to Foster Carers
- Lap top computers and printers enabling improved IT skills and research for course work.
- Equipment for vocational college courses
- Addition tuition leading to improved GCSE grades and for catch up support
- Sports equipment enabling a young people to improve self confidence
- Temp admin staff employed for data input
- Provision of enhanced health services to LAC/UASC
- Virtual baby programme
- Contraception advice and resources
- Early pregnancy terting and counselling
- Clinical Nurse Specialist training to Foster Carers
- Consultation Exercise with with LAC in residential care
- Monitoring and tracking of LAC
- Develop training pack for Designated Teachers
- Develop training pack for Social Workers
Impact:
- The bursary enabled looked after young people to have access to resources and services which enabled them to equal their non LAC peers
- Opportunities for improved educational outcomes.
- Children and staff in residential units have benefited from a strong relationship with education
- Improved health and wellbeing of LAC reducing barriers to education.
- The training has resulted in a closer working relationship between schools and Social Services
- Foster carer training has raised the profile of education and encouraged Foster Carers to become more aspirational.
