A series of resources including video, animation and whiteboard materials that address the skills, knowledge and understanding of how science works within the GCSE specifications.
The unit requires pupils to explore information about the causes of the destruction of habitat and reduced biodiversity including the effects of pollution on the river environment. Examples show how invertebrates can be used to determine pollution levels and how the levels of nitrate/oxygen in water samples can affect organisms.
