Tsunamis

A series of presentations and activities dealing with the recent Tsunamis that have affected Asia.

The unit deals with the development of a tsunami, including a case study.  Students are encouraged to think how they could best deal with the hazard and a rescue simulation can be used. The range of activities include audio and animation and resources that can be printed on paper before use.  The unit is suitable to promote pair and group work and incorporates many thinking skills.
