Title: Multicultural, anti-racist and gender issues in an early years setting
Authored by:
NGfL Cymru
This resource is designed to increase student’s awareness of multicultural, anti-racist and gender issues in an early years setting. Scenarios are used to illustrate how different aspects of the early years setting can influence how young children see the world - its differences and similarities, its mix of culture and language as well as social class and religion. . Strategies to promote anti-discriminatory practice are suggested. The learning object ends with a short assessment.
