Visitor Attraction SWOT analysis - Introduction

Authored by:
NGfL Cymru
The start of this session allows the learner to examine what a SWOT analysis is, before moving onto examine a visitor attraction through a SWOT analysis and exploring if factors are strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats.

This is examined by breaking down each component of the analysis and identifying how strengths and weaknesses are related to internal factors and opportunities and threats are linked to external factors.

Further analysis is illustrated through examples of conversion strategies which examine how weaknesses are converted to strengths, threats and strengths are converted into opportunities. A glossary is included for some of the terms used.
