Title: Air Travel Destinations
Authored by:
NGfL Cymru
This session introduces the student to key geographical locations of countries which are defined as long-haul or short-haul travel destinations. It incorporates IATA areas and global routings. There is the opportunity to identify and locate some of the key airports in the world and use a world route planner to map journey plans. Short interim assessments are included in the session to check learning has taken place. A summative assessment allows the learner to work out airport locations, three letter codes and select if the flight is domestic, European or international. Interim and summative assessments are included to test that learning has taken place. A glossary is included for some of the terms used.
