The whole class was involved in the reading of the story and pupils were involved in painting pictures or creating stories on the computer.

Skills Covered
Reading the story aloud and responding to it through art activities and using a CD Rom to write stories with sound and images.

Rationale
The computer programs were invaluable in helping young pupils to produce quality stories with appropriate images and sound effects.

Result
Completed stories were read to the rest of the class and, with other work, formed part of the class display.
