Outline of the activity
Children work together to create a class pictogram to show what pets they have at home. They then create a sets diagram to show what pets the children have in their group. They use the stamps tool on their drawing program.

Skills Covered
Children sort information using the computer using sets and pictograms. They use the stamps tool on a drawing program for a purpose.

Rationale
The stamps tool in the drawing program provides a quick and easy method for young children to show representation of objects for a variety of subjects including Maths.

Result
The pets pictogram and sets were printed and displayed on the classroom wall. A discussion was held about the findings.
