Outline of the activity
A letter was sent to the parents and the community explaining the project and asking for any old photographs of the local fishing industry in the village.

Skills Covered
The children used the scanner to scan old photographs brought in to school and the digital camera to take contemporary photographs.

Rationale
The use of technology was essential to capture the development of the fishing industry over time and to present the information to others.

Result

A Powerpoint presentation to be made of the project and the findings of the children.
