How was it used?

This resource was used as the starter activity in a lesson on ‘Number patterns’ and played a significant factor in the development of pupils’ learning, thinking and communication skills.

Impact and Outcomes

Learner Feedback

Pupils were engaged and motivated during the activity.  They enjoyed the opportunity to share their answers with each other in their small groups and also as a whole class.

Lesson Learnt

The resource can be easily adapted and used in different ways. Although displayed in a format suitable for an IWB or projector, to be used at the front of the class it is also effective as a paper activity in small groups.
