How was it used?

Our Yr 10 pupils used the bilingual interactive resource on Acids and Alkali from the NGfL Cymru website to revise about the strength of acids and alkali.

Then, they used Photo Story to create podcasts about the topic to help each other revise for their exams. Their podcasts were uploaded on our Scienceatcroesy website, so they could use them at home and with their parents too.

Lesson Learnt

I thoroughly enjoyed the activity and I was a bit worried some pupils would not be engaged in this task, but they all seemed to be interested and work well. The technology I used (Photo Story) is very simple and that helped building my confidence to explore other tools that could be used in a similar way.
