The unit is split into three sections giving information about the effects of waste on the environment and interactive games that allow pupils to learn how to minimise those effects.

Section 1 introduces the pupils to the concepts of reducing, re-using and recycling waste to help overcome the negative effects on the environment.

Section 2 has a timed interactive game where pupils need to decide whether different items of waste are suitable for reusing, reducing or recycling.

Section 3 has an interactive game to teach pupils about the type of recycling bank different items should be placed in.
