An introduction to Food webs

This interactive resource is designed to extend pupils knowledge of Food Chains and feeding relationships.

Pupils revise the terms 'Producer' and 'Consumer'. A link is provided to a revision video for food chains. Pupils introduced to multiple food chains and shown how they can be produced more accurately as a web.

Pupils encouraged to complete information based on food webs from the countryside and from a pond/river. Pupils finally produce their own food web based on a tropical rainforest ecosystem.
